The Otis Instruments, Inc. Model OI-840IR Notis is a stand alone gas monitor that is equipped with an Infrared Sensor for sensing combustible gas.

The key feature of the OI-840IR is non-intrusive calibration. With all adjustments made at the monitor, one-man non-intrusive calibration is quick, easy, and allows the device to remain Class I, Division 1, Group C and D certified while in the field. Non-intrusive calibration is made possible by using an Otis Instruments, Inc. distributed magnet to activate the MENU, ADD and SUB buttons.

The OI-840IR features a 4-digit display and is equipped with two Normally Open 5 Amp alarm relays that are full-scale adjustable. The OI-840IR is powered by 12-24 Volts DC and includes both 4-20mA and RS-485 RTU signal outputs. The OI-840IR's flexibility and features make it both a convenient and reliable tool—suitable for a wide-range of gas-hosting environments.
